What do we invest in?
We have a particular view of investing that is different from typical venture capital organizations.
We only invest in areas were we know we can build a customer base from our existing relationships and channels.
That being said, we are current focused on Public Safety, Telecommunications, Healthcare and Government Services.

BlueKiwi is a group of talented business people who are dedicated to building world class technology companies. With over 22 years of management experience, we are dedicated to making small technology companies relevant. We are export focused and are dedicated to dramatically increase New Zealand's software export receipts.
As a private equity company offers investment capital for start up, early development and for existing businesses looking to expand into the United States market.
However where Blue Kiwi differs is that we focus only on certain areas of technology where we already have a presence through another portfolio company or channel.
We offer private equity investment capital to science and technology businesses with global potential and who seek capital to help them fund rapid growth potential.
We also offer OEM and channel relationships where appropriate.
How We Work
Our approach is unique to Venture Capital in New Zealand. It is loosely based on the Israeli VC industry where their technology effort is tightly focused. We believe that the long term growth of New Zealand can only be achieved through export receipts and therefore software export receipts so we only engage companies that can drive export dollars.
We already have a presence in the Public Safety, Telecommunications, Healthcare and Government Markets in the United States. We know what products and services we can sell in the United States and we therefore look for New Zealand companies that meet these requirements or can be focused into these areas. We then leverage our existing relationships to create the market for the technology.
